Avenue Rouge Runway: Discover Your Color

The Avenue Rouge Runway show, running from 2010-2013 and produced by 225 and inRegister showcased the most coordinated efforts of all members of the Louisiana Business Inc. marketing, events, audience development, online and editorial teams. With ticket promotions beginning around three months out, strategic planning culminated in a high-production annual fashion show featuring a range of national and local boutiques, designers and performers that was guaranteed to be sold out well before the event date.

We are excited to announce that this year's Avenue Rouge Runway will be held at L'Auberge Casino & Hotel Baton Rouge on September 26.

Developed agreement with local bloggers on regular contributions leading up to the Runway show to access their well matched audience in an effort to boost event awareness and sell out tickets in record time. Developed multi-week content schedule, approved posts, built web platform alongside developer to load and format weekly content and provide to Director of Online Operations to tease through e-newsletter and social channels.

Instagram contest & Sponsor Video Series

Developed concept for quick teaser videos from each sponsor boutique to promote the upcoming show and allow sponsors to highlight their merchandise for added value. Videos tied into a series of ten questions readers could tag themselves in and answer for a chance to win a paid of tickets and packet to attend the sold out event. Contest drew over 100 entries almost entirely from readers who had not attended the event in the past.

Worked with event team on concept, design and execution of attendee social engagement tactics such as #arrunway live streaming tweet wall pre-show and walk up "These shoes were made for SHOPPING" floor vinyl resulting in record event engagement and lasting post-event buzz.


Coordinated inner-departmental efforts to time social media, e-newsletters, print and digital promotions for maximized pre-event exposure and leading up to the live streaming of the show provided by Launch Media.
